Berliner Dom & Checkpoint Charlie

In this second trip,I stayed for 3 days. In the first day I went to Berliner Dom. You could take bus 200 or take tram from Alexanderplatz and stopped near Aqua Dom and you could walk abou 500m. It was very magnificent inside and outside the building. The ticket cost 7 euro that you can buy with a ticket machine and pay with EC. It located near the Museum Island. It might be smaller than Cologne Cathedral but you could explore all over the place until the top of the Dom. There is 7 part of the Dom,which youcould followed by the directions. On the second day,I am going solo because my friend is not in good condiion so she take rest in the apartment. Early in the morning,I took U-Bahn
Osloer Strasse to Checkpoint Charlie station. The border itself used to be a border during Cold war when Berlin was separated and was guarded by
U.S.A army. It is one of the witness about how awful the condition when Berlin was divided into 2. The original border itself now keep in one of museum in Berlin as I read in one website which I forgot the name of the museum. There is also a museum next to the border but I don't visit it because I am in hurry and have to catch up bus to Charlottenburg Palace. But,I stopped in one of coffeeshop near Checkpoint Charlie named WESTBERLIN. It was a very good coffee so far in Germany,since I don't find good coffee in Germany until I found WESTBERLIN. The coffeeshop itself was very comfortable and have big space also affordable,I really reccomend for those who want taste good coffee in Berlin you could stopped by WESTBERLIN.
