Backpacker to Malang-Bromo(BDG-MLG)
In early January 2016 after I finished my first hotel internship in one of 5star hotel located in Bandung,me and my friend
who also one of the staff in that hotel planned to go backpacking to Bromo and our main destination are Madakaripura, hidden
waterfall that also located in Bromo-Tengger Semeru National Park. But,there is one reason why we can't go on January its because
status of volcano activity. So,I decided to visited my friends in Bali for 4 days. After our dissapointment,we planned to visit
Malang on end of August.
It's a long time between January to August but during that time we are planning on our itinerary. Also,my loveliest cousin is joining
our trip with her boyfriend in Bromo. On 16th of August I went to Bandung before departing to Malang by train.
In our Independence day we going to Backpacker city so called Malang. It took 15hours by train yet so tired but fun. When we arrived,we
took local transport(Angkot) to our hostel(Butik Capsule Hostel) where also located near to the famous Bakso President. After check-in
we decide to take lunch and try that famous bakso it only took 5 minute by walk,in my opinion for a famous bakso like Bakso President
I would give 3.5/5 because its a bit tasteless and expensive for Indonesia meatball price. Then,we take a break for a whole day because
of tiring journey by train,we are just strolling around Malang town hall and try Ronde Titoni,it was very delicious and warm.
On the second day we went to Coban Rondo and Omah Kayu by Angkot. Most of the transportation that we used Angkot and Ojek. The waterfall
itself was beautiful and yet already very organized by government, and one more thing be careful with monkey and the gangs because I have bad story with monkey during my journey in one of temple in Bali. Omah Kayu was a place where you can see all of Malang Panorama from the top and
do Paralayang if you have gone to the Lodge Maribaya,Bandung it was look alike because you can take photos from a trees and have some tree
houses.
In the next day we choose to visit JATIM PARK 2,Batu Secret Zoo,and Museum Angkut we bought inclusive ticket that could entered those places.
It was a very huge area and I literally proud of Malang because they can made places that very-well organized and price for the ticket was very
reasonable and worth-it for visit!
