Failed Blue Fire
I don't know how to describe about this post. I really dissapointed and proud of myself. After we finished visit Menjangan Island. We got time to sleep until midnight before start trekkin at a hostel in Banyuwangi.
Our tour leader wake up us at 11 P.M,then I preparing everything that I need to trekking. It took around 30 minutes from our hostel to Ijen national park gate. The group was divided into 3 types of hiker which are slow,moderate,and fast from how the hikers walk into the top of the mountain. I choose with fast people with very confidence. There is 3 stopped. With over confidence I stopped and choose to walk alone and separate with my cousin but suddenly I met my tour guide and he accompanied me also I met other person who also like me,over-confidence and we walk until the top.
It was really crowded on the top of Ijen Mountain since it's long weekend. We tried to take a photo of the famous blue fire in Ijen Crater but we can't because many people take a risk to down to the crater and get close with the blue fire and closing the view of blue fire. So,we decide to walk another side of the top and waiting until sunrise, it was one of beautiful moment in my life.
What I want to share ? Do not OVER CONFIDENCE. Ijen is one of the hardest track in Java. I am a beginner so later I do choose the moderate. Last,if I have a chance I want going back to Ijen and see that famous blue fire.
